Big and waxy, Chateau Pichon Lalande 1999 (Pauillac, Bordeaux) is medium ruby, displaying waxy aromas of sweet cassis, spice & pepper and faint smokey oak, the intial palate is closed, followed by smokey wood tanins, good balance and a big finish.
