Chateau Montrose 1999 (Saint-estephe, Bordeaux)

Sweet but tanic, Chateau Montrose 1999 (Saint-estephe, Bordeaux) is dark ruby, exhibiting aromas of sweet blackberry and smoke, with a mouthful of sweet concentrated fruit, high acidity and overweight tanins on the finish. Still very young, retaste in 5 years. Socre 13/20. Hogi Hyun, 25 Jun 2005.
