Sweet and soft, the Chateau Cantemerle 1996 (Haut-Medoc, Bordeaux) is medium ruby, displaying aromas of sweet cassis, tobacco, leather and faint musk, followed with an open palate of sweet ripe fruit, acidic backbone, mild tanins and a soft finish.
