Chateau Haut-Bailly 2001

Subtle in fruit and tanin, Chateau Haut-Bailly 2001 (Pessac-Leognan, Bordeaux) is deep ruby, displaying elegant aromas of cassis, stone/minerals, pencil, faint oak and greem capsicum. Light/medium bodied, it shows sweet red berries on the palate, good tanic structure and a mild finish with apparent tanins. Re-taste in 3 years. Score 15/20. Hogi Hyun, 22 Sep 05.
