Chateau Rauzan-Segla 2001

Fresh, sweet but lacking in finesse, Chateau Rauzan-Segla 2001 (Margaux, Bordeaux) is medium ruby, displaying fresh sweet cranberry and smokey oak aromas. Medium bodied with young tanins, it shows mild fruit but lacks balance and finesse, and suffers from a dry tanic finish. Re-taste 3 years. Score 13/20. Hogi Hyun, 29 Oct 2005.
