Sarget de Gruaud-Larose 2000
Meaty and vegetal, reminiscent of an Amarone, Sarget de Gruaud-Larose 2000 (Saint-julien, Bordeaux) is medium ruby, exhibiting aromas of meat, green capsicum and dates, followed by a full body, rich and meaty but a bit green and lacking fruit, ending with faint tanins on the finish. Re-taste in 3 years. Score 13/20. Hogi Hyun, 7 May 2005.
