Fruity, young and tanic, the Domaine Jean-Jacques Confuron Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Les Beaux Monts 2001 (Vosne-Romanee, Burgundy), is light ruby and pink at the edge, exhibiting subtle aromas of sweet cherry, red liquorice and earth, followed by sweetness and acidity on the attack, medium body, mild fruit, sweet candy/liquorice flavors, present tanins, racy acidity and a mild finish.
