Obsidian Cabernet-Merlot 1997

Jammy and soft, the Obsidian Cabernet-Merlot 1997 (Waiheke Island, Aukland) is opake dark ruby with slight browning, with aromas of jammy red fruits, followed by soft tanins, ripe cassis, hints of pepper and a short, slightly sour finish. Score 15/20. Hogi Hyun 16 Mar 2005.
