Chateau Lynch Bages 1997

Aromatic and ripe, Chateau Lynch Bages 1997 (Pauillac, Bordeaux) is medium ruby with an initial nose of pure cassis, followed by tobacco and smokey cedar notes. Rich and ripe on the attack, it is light bodied with good balance but a weak mid-palate and a pleasant but soft finish. Drink now + 5 years. Score 15/20. Hogi Hyun, 20 Nov 2005.
