Waxy and gentle, Chateau Branaire Ducru 2001 (Saint-Julien, Bordeaux) is medium ruby, exhibiting aromas of minerals, faint smoked oak, waxy plum and candied cherry, followed by a soft attack, light body with faint fruit, meaty middle and a gentle finish.
